​Thank you for choosing foghousefirearms.com. We work hard to process and ship your orders as quickly and safely as possible. Because we sell regulated items, our shipping procedures must strictly adhere to federal, state, and local laws. Please review our shipping guidelines below.

​1. General Shipping Information

1. ​Processing Times: Orders for in-stock, non-regulated accessories typically ship within 1 to 3 business days. Orders containing firearms or ammunition may take 3 to 5 business days to process due to necessary legal verifications.
2. ​Carrier Restrictions: We ship via major domestic carriers (such as UPS and FedEx). Please note that carriers do not deliver to PO Boxes or APO/FPO addresses for firearms or ammunition shipments.
3. ​Tracking: Once your order labels are printed and scanned, a tracking number will be automatically emailed to you.

​2. Firearms Shipping Policy (FFL Required)

​By federal law, we cannot ship firearms directly to an individual's home. All firearms must be shipped to a dealer holding a valid Federal Firearms License (FFL).

1. ​Coordinating Your FFL Transfer: During checkout or immediately afterward, you must identify the FFL dealer where you want your firearm shipped. It is your responsibility to contact that dealer and have them email a current, legible copy of their FFL license to foghousefirearms@yahoo.com with your order number referenced.
2. ​Shipping Speeds: Firearm shipments will be held completely until we receive and verify the receiving dealer’s FFL. Once verified, firearms are shipped via insured ground or air transport (depending on carrier regulations for handguns vs. long guns).
3. ​Delivery Inspection: When your firearm arrives at your local FFL dealer, inspect it thoroughly before completing the paperwork and background check. Once the transfer is finalized, the sale is final.

​3. Ammunition Shipping Policy

​Ammunition requires careful handling and is subject to strict transport regulations:

1. ​Ground Only: All ammunition must ship via ground transport. Air shipping is prohibited by carrier regulations.
2. ​Adult Signature: To ensure safety and compliance, ammunition shipments may require an adult signature upon delivery.
3. ​No PO Boxes: We cannot ship ammunition to PO Boxes or APO/FPO addresses.

​4. State and Local Restrictions

​We comply fully with all state and local laws regarding the sale and distribution of firearms, ammunition, and high-capacity magazines. It is your responsibility to know your local laws before ordering.

1. ​We cannot ship certain items (such as magazines over a specific capacity, AR-15 variants, or specific ammunition types) to states or municipalities where they are restricted (e.g., California, New York, Illinois, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Connecticut, Washington, etc., depending on the specific item).
2. ​If you place an order for an item that is restricted in your delivery location, your order will be cancelled and refunded, minus any applicable credit card processing fees.

​5. Lost, Damaged, or Stolen Shipments

1. ​We take great care in packaging your orders securely. However, Fog House Firearms is not responsible for carrier delays or packages damaged, lost, or stolen in transit once they have left our facility.
2. ​For high-value items, including firearms, we recommend utilizing insured shipping options at checkout. If your package arrives damaged, keep all original packaging and contact the carrier immediately to file a claim.

​Shipping charges are calculated at checkout based on the total weight of the items in your cart, the shipping destination, and the required delivery method.
